CineSmith is a product of CineArt AI Limited, a company registered in England & Wales with its registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website, and we handle it in line with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

• Waitlist details. When you join the CineSmith waitlist, we collect your email address and any further details you choose to give in the sign-up form (such as your name, company, and role).
• Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply.
• Technical data. Our hosting and security providers log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) as part of serving and protecting the site.

2. How we use it

• To manage the waitlist and contact you about beta access, launch news, and product updates for CineSmith (with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To respond to your enquiries (our legitimate interest in running our business).
• To keep the site secure and working (our legitimate interest in protecting our services).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. Every update email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also just reply asking to be removed.

3. Where it lives

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this site and store data on our behalf, in the following categories:

• Email and business-productivity services — waitlist entries and email correspondence. Our waitlist sign-up completes in a form provided by one of these services, which is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy.
• Website hosting — serving this website.
• Content delivery and security services — DNS and protection in front of the site.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by recognised safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

This site and the CineSmith beta are aimed at working professionals and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not profile you.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; to restrict or object to our processing of it; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
