Filmmaker. 20+ years across documentary, drama, commercial, and broadcast — from the early 1990s Asian music video circuit to series editor seats on Johnny vs Amber (Discovery+) and The Russell Murders (Sky Documentaries). Editorial credits with Netflix, BBC, Channel 4, HBO, Discovery, Al Jazeera, Arte France, CNN, and The Economist. Recognition at Sundance and Cannes; films that have earned the Grierson. Founded WIDEI Films at Ealing Studios in 2004.
Technologist. Over a decade building software for the people who make screen work. In 2009 launched Skylight, one of the earliest cloud native collaboration platforms for production teams — covered by BBC News, The Guardian, and the FT. In 2017 joined Outlier Ventures on fintech and large scale procurement systems built on blockchain and ML/AI. Today, leads the AI automation, agentic workflow design, and prompt engineering work powering CineSmith. Computer pioneer since the ZX Spectrum / Commodore 64 days. Holds an active pilot's licence.
Now bringing both careers — pipeline and post knowledge from the cutting room and a working engineer's hands — to the agentic platform underneath CineSmith.
